keuze uit de in NL door Nederlandse Marokkanen meest bezochte website. Het
gaat hier om een historische archivering van belangwekkende onderwerpen!!!

| Hier stonden
2 nu door mij verwijderde pagina's met kritiek op Maroc.NL en een stalker
aldaar. On 8-11-2006 - kreeg ik van de administrator van Maroc.NL (directeur) Dick Sipkes de volgende waarschuwing: Elke suggestie van kritiek op 'Maroc.nl' moet verwijderd worden - Anders wordt jij van Maroc.nl verwijderd via een IP-ban... Ik bedong dat mijn kritiek op een lastige stalker wel kon blijven staan, maar nu leg ik de voorbije vetes maar ad acta... Ik gaf gehoor aan admin Dick Sipkes: omdat via het intypen van betreffende namen op GOOGLE, men toen de gewiste pagina's nog ongewijzigd kon terug lezen - Google bewaart ze nu eenmaal in cache...! De gedachtenpolitie van Maroc.nl bleek dus toch zijn grenzen te hebben. Over Google hebben namelijk noch ik noch de machtige directeur Dick Sipkes enige zeggenschap! Leve dus de vrijheid van meningsuiting! |

Congratulations by the mayor of the city of Amsterdam, mr. Job Cohen (29 april 2003).
Ron werd op april 2003 door Job Cohen tot Ridder Oranje Nassau geslagen. Job Cohen vermeldde dat Ron - na de koloniale periode - initiatieven nam voor de verbetering van onze betrekkingen met Indonesië (waar hij ook les gaf aan universiteiten). Ook wilde Ron allochtonen zelf hun boontjes laten doppen en daar enkel als vriend en medewerker bij helpen. Dit bracht hem in konflikt met goedbedoelende Nederlanders - zoals in Amsterdam bij o.m. PvdA-ers - die eisten dat Turken en Marokkanen met Nederlanders moeten assimileren alvorens hun subsidieruif gevuld kon worden.
Dit "multiculturele" standpunt bleek sterk aan slijtage onderhevig: De nu - jammer genoeg - voorbije AEL van Dyab Abu Jahjah was een - van subsidies onafhankelijke - strijd voor integratie via burgerrechten van allochtonen.
Felicitaties van Ron's oude vriend, de econoom Rachid Jamari, tzt gemeenteraadslid van Amsterdam.
Felicitaties van Tjeerd Herrema stadsdeelvoorzitter Zeeburg (wiens huwelijk met zijn vriend door moslima Fatima Elatik als ambtenaar van de burgerlijk stand werd ingeschreven) en rechts: Mustafa Ustalar, deelraadslid-buurtactivist
Gevraagd naar zijn motivatie om deze onderscheiding te aanvaarden, antwoordde Ron: "Zo'n waardering voor je acties en je andere inspanningen, dat geeft de burger toch weer moed! En ik hoopte dat er praktische voordelen aan vast zitten! Kijk, ik roerde me danig in de Arabische wereld. En als je dan medewerking van onze NL-ambassades nodig hebt voor steun aan projecten van mensenrechten-activisten, en ik dan bij voorbeeld in Marokko of Syrië met de ambassadeur of ambassaderaad daarover praat, dan krijg je te horen:
"Meneer Haleber waar bent u in 's hemelsnaam mee bezig? Dat is ons te veel gevaarlijk! Wij kunnen u absoluut geen bescherming garanderen. Wij zijn niet in staat iets voor u te doen wanneer u gearresteerd wordt! Pas op, u doet dit geheel op eigen risico!".
Goed, soms bleek ik beter ingang te hebben op ministeries dan de NL-ambassade zelf en kon ik dus beter inschatten wat het risico was, en me via mijn netwerk tijdig indekken. Maar met zo'n onderscheiding zal - volgens insiders - het personeel van Buza toch wat meer rekening met je houden dan met een willekeurige toerist die daar langstippelt omdat hij zijn geld of paspoort kwijt is.

Op zich vind ik de onofficiële onderscheiding die ik ontving uit handen van de Marokkaan El Manouzi die op ons Ministerie van Justitie werkt - een familielid van politieke martelaren in Marokko - natuurlijk even belangrijk. Dat gebeurde namens de "Association des Parents et Amis des Victimes de la Disparition au Maroc" (APADAM), de Vereniging van de Ouders en Vrienden van Slachtoffers van Verdwijning in Marokko, die als devies heeft: "Samen voor een Vrij en Democratisch Marokko 1970-2000".
